About Me
My name is Steven W. Nickerson Sr. I have been married for
over 27 years to my first wife Sherrie. We have nine (9) beautiful children. I
am a Born Again Christian and a Veteran. Working on computers has always been a
hobby of mine, and I saw the need for good computer repair for the homeowner. As
my children are getting older, they assist me around the shop. You might see
Lindy in the shop cleaning, or Jonathan will work the counter if I am on a
service call. My 3rd son Josiah is usually helping me break down old computers
to recycle. You might see Michelle, my 3rd oldest, inputting data into
QuickBooks.
I have over 20 years experience in the IT (Information Technology) field. I
got my first exposure while working in the Air Force. I was stationed 3.5 years
at the Pentagon, 3.5 years at NSA (National Security Agency) and then 2 years at
Offutt AFB, NE with the NRO (National Reconnaissance Office). I have worked on
computers at UNMC (University Nebraska Medical Center) and eBay. I opened up my
business in March of 2003 on a part time basis and went full time August 2005.
Unlike most other
computer repair shops, my focus is providing affordable services to home owners
as well as small businesses. My rates are fair, and
my service is untouched. We enjoy explaining each step to you as we repair
your computer, when we come to your location. Don't feel afraid to ask
questions while we are working.
I guarantee all my
work, I give everyone 7 days from the time they get their computer back to check
it out and let me know if there is a problem with the way it is performing.
As long as the problem is related to the original reason you brought your
computer in, there will be no extra charge. Due to the nature of viruses,
it is hard to guarantee against viruses since I don't sell antivirus protection,
however, I will treat every incident on a case by case basis.
